1958 Neil Finn Crowded House

New Zealand singer-songwriter and musician Neil Finn was born. He rose to fame as the co-frontman for the rock band Split Enz. In 1985, he became the frontman for the band Crowded House. In 1986/87, they reached the top ten in numerous countries with "Don't Dream It's Over", the fourth single from their self-titled debut album.

German duo Modern Talking went to number one on German albums chart with their debut album, "The 1st Album" for four non-consecutive weeks. The album includes two hit-singles: "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", and "You Can Win If You Want".
