The song was written by Splitz Enz member, Neil Finn (Crowded House 1985-1996). It was released as the first single from their fifth studio album, “True Colours”. It was released in December 1979 with “Double Happy” on the B-side. In 1980, it topped the singles chart in Australia for eighth consecutive weeks.
