Austrian singer-songwirter Falco (Johann Hölzel) was born. During the 80's he had several international hits, "Der Kommissar", "Rock Me Amadeus", "Vienna Calling" or "Jeanny". Falco was killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic on 6th February 1998.
