1949 Eddie Money

American rock singer and songwriter, Eddie Money (Edward Joseph Mahoney) was born. During the 80's he had three number one hits on Billboard Mainstream Rock chart: "Think I'm in Love" (1982), "Take Me Home Tonight" (1986), and "The Love in Your Eyes" (1989). Eddie Money died of cancer in a Los Angeles hospital on September 13, 2019, at age 70.

British rock band Queen reached number one in Spain with "Another One Bites the Dust", the fourth single from their eighth studio album, "The Game".
