The song was written by DÖF (Deutsch-Österreichisches Feingefühl) members Joesi Prokopetz , Manfred Tauchen and Annette Humpe (Humpe Humpe). “Codo … düse im Sauseschritt” was released as the first single from the band’s debut, self-titled album. The single was released in March 1983 with “Rein Gar Nix” on the B-side. The single topped the German singles chart for five weeks and the Austrian one for eight weeks.
