The song was written by Abba members, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus along with their manager, Stig Anderson. “Dancing Queen” was released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, “Arrival”. The single was released in August 1976 with “That’s Me” on the B-side. “Dancing Queen” topped the singles charts in numerous countries, incl. the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Germany.
