The most notable Brown’s 80’s song was written by Dan Hartman and Charlie Midnight. It was released as a first single from his 1986 album “Gravity”. It was released in December 1985 reaching the top ten in many countries, including United States, UK and Canada. “Living in America” was featured in the film Rocky IV. In 1986, the song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song.
