The single was released in October 1984 (with “White China (live)” on the B-side. It peaked at #12 in the UK.

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Marvin Gaye (Marvin Pentz Gay Jr) was born. In 1982, he reached the top ten in numerous countries with "Sexual Healing", the lead single from his seventeenth studio album, "Midnight Love". Marvin Gaye was shot dead by his father on April 1st 1984.
