The song was written by Guns N’ Roses members for their debut album, “Appetite for Destruction”. “Welcome To The Jungle” was released as the second single from teh album in September 1987 with “Mr. Brownstone” on the B-side (“Whole Lotta Rosie (live)”in the UK). The single reached #6 in New Zealand, and #7 on Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
