The song was written by Hombres G lead vocalist and bassist, David Summers. “Devuélveme a mi chica” (Give me back my girl) was released as the first single from the band’s self-titled debut album. It was released in January 1985 with “Nassau” on the B-side. The single topped the Spanish Singles Chart.
